The new ray conference chair with a medium backrest is manufactured in Rheinau, Germany, and crafted to the highest quality. Stuttgart-based design duo jehs+laub are behind the chair's design. The inspiration behind it, the ray conference chair with a high backrest, has been awarded the "Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019" and the silver medal in the Products category of the "Gute Gestaltung 2019" (Good Design 2019) contest by the Deutsche Designer Club (DDC).
